A nut plug (F/M/C) is a type of nut plug that has different sizes of crushed walnut shells as a loss circulation material (LCM). LCMs are used to seal the gaps or fractures in the formation that cause drilling fluid to leak.
A nut plug (F/M/C) can be used in both water-based and oil-based drilling fluid systems. It is available in three grades: fine, medium, and coarse, depending on the particle size and severity of the loss circulation.
